Permanent individual urns- these urns are designed to hold the entire remains of the deceased. Usually designed to permanent display in the home., while others are made to be put in  a column
barium or other permanent place not to be displayed.

Double Cremation Urn-  A single chamber that Holds the remains of 2 people, usually a committed couple.

Companion Cremation Urn- similar  to a double but with 2 separate compartments

Scattering Cremation Urn-  Use to scatter remains in a place that holds a significant meaning to the family or the deceased.

Biodegradable Cremation Urns - these Urns can be buried. They slowly dissolve and gently return the remains to the earth.

Infant/ Youth Urn - They are smaller in capacity and usually design with a children's theme.

Keepsake Urn- this urn holds only a portion of the remains, usually so family can share the remains of their loved  ones.

Cremation Vault- This is a vault that the urn is placed into. It protects the urn form the natural elements when buried. Some Cemeteries insist on a vault for urn burial.

Bronze urns can be cast which are usually sculptured designs or spun which are more sleek and simple in design
Bronze is naturally attractive  and rich looking in a golden brown color with a  lovely sheen, Other treatments can be applied to vary the appearance to make beautiful urns.

PEWTER URNS- Pewter is an allow of Copper, tin and antimony. It has a pretty, silvery type appearance

STEEL URNS- an alloy of mostly iron and carbon. It can be made with a satiny, shiny if stainless steel- or muted finish

COPPER URNS- A beautiful reddish brown highly corrosion resistant metal that is usually lacquered to prevent oxidation.
